FAQ
Fair questions, straight answers.
What does it cost me?
Nothing — at install, and every month after. We buy the machine, stock it, clean it, service it and insure it. Your only involvement is cashing the monthly payout. No hidden fees, and nothing to reimburse if you end the pilot.
How much space does it need?
About the footprint of a standard vending machine — roughly one metre wide and a little under a metre deep, plus clearance for the door. It needs a 120V outlet and a nearby water line. We confirm the exact spot on a quick site visit.
Is it food-safe and licensed?
Yes. We're an Ottawa, Ontario business and permitting runs through local public health and food-premises rules — we handle that process, not you. The machine is refrigerated end-to-end, self-cleans between shakes, and we sanitize it on a set schedule. You get a certificate of insurance before install.
What if it doesn't sell?
Then the pilot did its job. Either side can end the term with 7 days' notice and we remove the machine at our cost. You'll have earned your share on every shake it did sell, and you're out nothing.
Who handles cleaning and refills?
We do, entirely. The machine reports its own stock levels and sales, so we restock before anything runs out and sanitize on schedule. Your staff never touch it.
Can I choose flat rent instead of a revenue share?
Yes. Most gyms take 15% of gross because the upside is bigger, but if you'd rather have a predictable number, we can agree a flat monthly fee instead. You can decide after the pilot, once you've seen real sales data.
